Monthly workshops  
Each workshop is designed to assist the employer to effectively manage their risks and grow. Workshops that are part of the certificate program are indicated as such. Workshop locations include the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, Hyatt Regency in Irvine, and Holiday Inn in Laguna Hills. Overview
This highly interactive program is required for California employers with 50 or more employees and an excellent idea for employers of all sizes. This is your chance to comply with the law if you have not trained all your supervisors and managers as required, or if you have one or two new supervisors brought on board since you completed your company training. In addition to meeting the legal requirements, this program has received outstanding evaluations from previous attendees. It covers a variety of substantive employment law issues with a focus on their practical application on-the-job. Certificates of completion will be provided to all attendees.
 
Who Should Attend
Risk Managers, Human Resources personnel, Supervisors, Business owners, Office Managers and Administrators. If your company is a member, anyone in your company can attend at the Member price.
The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC Orange County) in partnership with the Employment Development Department (EDD) provides both National legislative updates and California legislative updates for Orange County employers. EAC Orange County also provides human resources training covering a wide variety of topics affecting Orange County employers such as hiring, disciplining, and firing employees in California. The EAC Orange County also co-sponsors Orange County job fairs with the California Employment Development Department, publishes a quarterly Advisor newsletter with Orange County employer resources and has an Orange County employer hotline Advisor.
