| Overview |
In the last decade, employees have begun expressing their
individuality and beliefs in new ways. Appearances that were
once considered unusual or provocative have become more
common. Concerned about the image their employees
present to the public, many companies have responded by
adopting dress codes or appearance standards. There are a
host of recent developments in this area, including statutory
changes and appellate cases in the areas of religious and
gender discrimination relating to an individual’s dress |
