| Each workshop is designed to assist the employer to
effectively manage their risks and grow. Workshops that are part of
the certificate program are indicated as such. Workshop locations
include the Hyatt
Regency Orange County in Garden Grove, Hyatt
Regency in Irvine, and Holiday
Inn in Laguna Hills. All workshop registration and breakfast begin
at 7:30 a.m. Workshop programs are from 8 to 11am. We also have available

The EDD offers a comprehensive range of workforce development
activities including tax assistance, labor market information, unemployment
insurance, and disability/leave of absence regulations. In fact, these
EDD programs actually provide you with the insight necessary to understand
and eventually defend any administrative claim that may be brought
against you.

 | The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC Orange County) in partnership with the Employment Development Department (EDD) provides both National legislative updates and California legislative updates for Orange County employers. EAC Orange County also provides human resources training covering a wide variety of topics affecting Orange County employers such as hiring, disciplining, and firing employees in California. The EAC Orange County also co-sponsors Orange County job fairs with the California Employment Development Department, publishes a quarterly Advisor newsletter with Orange County employer resources and has an Orange County employer hotline Advisor. |
