Basic Membership Information
Memberships is activated on within two days of the receipt of the membership application and receipt of the first year dues. Membership will beginning at the first of the following month for renewal purposes. The EAC OC Membership is a company Membership. EAC will ask for a main contact person and will be glad to add up to three additional people from the company to the database for meeting notices and information both mailed and emailed.

Membership Renewal
The contact person on record for the company will receive an invoice one month prior to their renewal date – based on the first month of membership. The invoice may be paid by check or paid online. Coming soon: Members will be able to renew in the “Members Only” section of the website.

Workshops
Workshops are geared to employers and are open to all adults with an interest in improving their management and human resource skills. Class fees include all material and a full breakfast. Workshops are held on the “odd” months of the year, excluding July and December. The cost for the workshop is $85.00 per person, discounted for Members to $65.00 per person.

Certificate Program Workshops
Certificate Workshops are geared to employers and are open to all adults with an interest in improving their management and human resource skills. Certificate Workshops are held on the even months of the year, excluding July and December. Annual registration will reduce the Certificate Workshops to $65.00 per person, further discounted to Members to $55.00 per person. Registration for the Certificate Program will begin in November of the current year through February of the new year. The Certificate Program Workshops can also be attended as an individual reservation to a specific workshop for $85.00 per person, discounted for Members to $65.00 per person.

Cancellation Policy
Workshops: No refunds(s) unless written notice via mail or email of cancellation is received in the EAC office 72 hours (3 days) prior to the workshop. There is no cancellation for paid annual Membership Dues. Membership is non-transferable.

Types of Payments Accepted
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express for all workshops – online or by email or fax to the EAC office with registration form. Company or Personal checks are accepted by mail. Upon special permission from the EAC office or onsite registrations, if available, can be paid in cash.

The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC Orange County) in partnership with the California Employment Development Department (EDD) provides human resources training covering a wide variety of topics affecting Orange County employers such as hiring, disciplining, and firing employees in California. The EAC Orange County also co-sponsors Orange County job fairs with the California Employment Development Department, publishes a quarterly Advisor newsletter with Orange County employer resources and has an Orange County employer hotline.
