Our mission
The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC-OC) is comprised of employers and their representatives from a cross-section of businesses in a variety of industries. The Orange County Chapter was established in 1980 to promote a stronger partnership between California's Employment Development Department Job Service offices and the business community.

The EAC-OC continues its strong commitment to assist employers in conducting their businesses more effectively and efficiently, to provide information on employment-related issues and to enhance the communication between all branches of the EDD and private sector employers.
 
Members receive excellent rates for workshops and seminars to:
Stay current with changes in employment law
Obtain legislative and regulatory information affecting employers
Provide training with experts in the fields of employment and business law.
 
In addition, the EAC-OC offers:

The Employer Advisory Council of Orange County (EAC Orange County) in partnership with the California Employment Development Department (EDD) provides human resources training covering a wide variety of topics affecting Orange County employers such as hiring, disciplining, and firing employees in California. The EAC Orange County also co-sponsors Orange County job fairs with the California Employment Development Department, publishes a quarterly Advisor newsletter with Orange County employer resources and has an Orange County employer hotline.
